Anoche volvi de Florencia despues de unos dias y la imagen que traigo es que desde hace diez años, cuando estuve por primera vez, apenas ha cambiado nada. Bueno, de hecho lo que han limpiado ya del Duomo ha empezado a oscurecerse de nuevo... Pero antes que nada, gracias de nuevo por magnifico trabajo previo que me pasasteis sobre Florencia... casi casi como si fuera un plan de invasión de un país extranjero. Casi na.
Me pediais algunos detalles para complementar la información y ahi voy:
- Se suponía que iba a hacer un calor terrible, y de eso nada. Llevaos jersey y chubasquero, porque llevan un veranito de tormentas que no os quiero ni contar.
- Los mosquitos este año están espectaculares, sobre todo por las noches. Llevar repelente como si fuerais al Amazonas. Por cierto, si no quereis embadurnaos, han salido una especie de parches (como los antitabaco, anticelulitis y demás) que se pegan en la ropa o la piel y van muy bien. Los venden en farmacias, no pesan y no ocupan sitio.
- Respecto a los precios en la comida, es prácticamente igual en toda la ciudad, entre 6 y 8 euros el plato de pasta o pizza. Lo mismo en una terraza de la Piazza de la Signoría que en un bareto de mala muerte. Donde te clavan es en las bebidas, cuatro euros una coca-cola o hasta seis en un capuccino.
- El agua del grifo se bebe sin problemas y hay fuentes por todas partes.
- Esta todo petado de turistas. Es impresionante. Codazos para la foto en el puente Vechio y colas eternas en el Duomo y los Ufizzi. Por cierto, respecto a estos ultimos, me chupé las cuatro horas y media de cola preceptivas. Aqui hay dos opciones, o hacer cola para sacar la entrada por adelantado el dia antes (por lo que además te clavan 3€ mas) o hacer cola el mismo dia, que al menos, no te cobran por el placer de hacer cola. Yo después de ver lo visto, lo que haría es echar a suertes el madrugón, es decir, que alguien se levante a las 6.30 para llegar ahi a hacer cola a las 7.00 (abren a las 8.15) y que los demás, después de desayunar le releven mientras el susodicho desayuna.
- Hay un sitio donde no suele haber cola y es el Museo del Duomo, el de la Opera, que esta justo detrás. Merece la pena, porque entre otras cosas está una Piedad de Miguel Angel, la famosa Magdalena en madera y los originales de las Puertas del Paraiso a un palmo de la nariz y con una luz espectacular.
- Si os gusta la piel, en el Mercado de San Lorenzo, hay bolsos y chaquetas chulas. Yo compre hace diez años y he recaido, jajajaja. Eso si, hay que regatear como en Turquia. Si te piden 200, hay que bajar hasta los 120 máximo.
- Y si estais forrados, tras el arco de la Piazza de la República, se abren las calles caras carisimas con Gucci, Prada, Armani, Tiffanys y demás. Vale, no puedo pagar nada de eso, pero oye, darte un paseo por ahi criticando los escaparate también tiene su puntito.
