Alojamiento en Nueva York
Yo me quede en 1 hostel en la calle 45, en pleno Manhatan, se llamaba " The big apple ", muy buena relacion calidad precio.Tenia habitaciones privadas. Nos alojaron en 1 hab con 2 camas ,para 3 personas, 1 era individual y otra de matrimonio, con el baño dentro de la habitacion. Yo estuve en el 91 y lo iban a reformar. Seguramente aparecera en la web de hostelworld.com. Además 1 servicio buenisimo, te informaban donde comprar las entradas pa los musicales mas baratas, como ir a la statua de la libertad en el ferry de la isla, en vez de cojer 1 tour organizado.
Nosotros estuvimos en un apartamento muy chulo a tres calles de Central Park, hacia Harlem, en Upper West Side, pero era para 5 personas, igual les encarece, pero te envío el enlace por si no encuentran nada o por si dentro de esa web hay apartamentos más pequeños

Pues te dire que un grupo de itaqueños nos vamos en la segunda quincena de agosto y hemos reservado en el broadway hostel , en manhatan.el precio es de 32 dolares la noche en habitacion para los seis. he visto otro hostel muy chulo, la pagina de internet es www. hinewyork.com y ofrecen excursiones a pie muy sugerentes. suerte!

Creo recordar que el alojamiento y desayuno rondaba los 24$ por persona, el ambiente es muy majo y el hostel es frecuentado por viajeros de todo el mundo.
Estuvimos en el Hostelling International New York (http://www.hinewyork.org/), en 891 Ámsterdam St. Precio de la hab. de 6 pax., 32 $. Aceptable. Se trata de un viejo edificio en la zona norte de Central Park. Tiene un patio estupendo y todo tipo de instalaciones.
Los dormitorios están bien, pero sin pasarse (tiene taquillas, pero sin cierre de seguridad, llevar candado pequeño). También se puede reservar una habitación completa con baño dentro (está bien para grupos grandes). Lo mejor la comunicación, a escasos 3 min. del metro (línea 1 que cruza Manhattan de norte a sur). Aunque esta en Harlem es una zona tranquila, siempre utilizamos el metro para volver y no tuvimos ningún problema.
